Brought up between Leicester and West London, GBDs obsession with film started when at the tender age of 4 she was taken to the cinema for the first time. It didn’t take her long to get her little hands on her own camera and by the age of 6 she was in production of her first film.
Georgi’s hunger and dedication were evident throughout her formative years, spending holidays and weekends assisting on any film or project she could. Then when she was finally old enough, she enrolled herself at Newport Film School to hone and develop her own craft.
Soon after graduating Georgi joined the BBC where she shot their promos. Her talent for natural performances, beautiful visuals and knack for capturing rawness in both people and places saw her headhunted by CNN to run their advertising department.
Georgi has worked with multiple and varied clients including Apple, Audi, Coca-Cola, Nike, Lexus, Toyota, Swissair, Starbucks and O2.
Her passion, determination and single-mindedness shines through in everything she does; whether that’s crafting a poetic film, lusting after vintage cars or willing Leicester City FC to reclaim their (top) position in the 2015 premier league table!
Georgi’s most recent short film Garfield premiered at the 2018 Sundance film festival.
